Our Tigers have won 5 in a row since I last posted something. Coincidence? Maybe just maybe. These wins include a sweep of the LA Angels and a series win against Central Division lead Minnesota.
Justin Verlander took the mound today hoping to forget all about his rough April. Forget it he did as he went 8.1 giving up only 3 hits and 1 earned as the Tigers won 5-1. Verlander struck out 7 and didn’t walk anybody. At one point the Tigers Ace retired 23 in a row.
This team seems to be coming together nicely. The offense has ROARED to life after a slow start. The starting pitching is beginning to come around and their bullpen remains the best in all of baseball.
If things continue to go the way are currently going we should be in for a very exciting summer. GO TIGERS!
